This policy explains what information Dietr ("we", "us") collects through the Dietr mobile app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
To create your account and sign you in; analyze food photos/barcodes to estimate nutrition; track your progress toward your goals; run challenges and the coach marketplace; process subscription payments; send notifications you've opted into; and provide customer support.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the app, or by emailing support@dietrapp.com with "Delete my account" if you no longer have access to the app. Full details on exactly what's deleted are at dietrapp.com/delete-account.html.
Data is stored with Firebase/Google Cloud and protected by access-controlled security rules. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe/Razorpay's own PCI-compliant systems — our servers and app never receive or store raw card numbers. OTP codes are stored hashed and expire automatically.
Dietr is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
You can access and edit most of your data directly in the app under your profile, and you can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time (see Data Retention & Deletion above). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA — contact us to exercise them.
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes may also be announced in-app.
